This is a fantastic and very refreshing drink to make even in the Winter months at home - you will feel more healthy, and this recipe is courtesy of Chef Stefan Spath - Executive Chef of Couples Resorts.
This yummy 'refresher' is found exclusively at all the Couples Resorts Veggie Bars on the beach, and is a great drink that is very popular. This is also a great drink for people who do not drink alcohol and would be amazing at a cocktail party or dinner party. Now the recipe is being shared with you!
- 1- 2 teaspoons grated ginger (depending how much ginger you like!)
- 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 - 2 sprigs of mint leaves (chopped or muddled in each glass)
- 1 1/4 cups water
Blend all of the above ingredients together until smooth - you will now need to strain into each glass and serve very chilled and with ice if needed.
(**nice hotel tip for chilling glasses - fill with ice and swirl for a minute, empty ice - voila! A lovely cold glass - this is especially good for when serving white wine**)
Serve with a wedge of pineapple or a slice of an orange....now sip and pretend you are on a beach in Jamaica!

Yummy drink! I've been to Jamaica and I LOVED it there. Followed you from SITS. Have a great day!
